SLIDE DRYING AND HEATING EQUIPMENT

HIGH CAPACITY SLIDE DRYER

StatLab

Features

  • Designed to provide maximum drying capacity for high volume laboratories.
  • Air at a digitally controlled temperature is blown through the base of the instrument for rapid and efficient slide drying without the risk of overheating the specimen.
  • Drying times can be reduced by approximately 75% when compared to conventional ovens.
  • Space for up to 13 slide racks (when used without the timer rack system) at 30 slide capacity each for a total capacity of 390 slides.
  • Designed with a small footprint so it can be located in close proximity to the microtome.

Cancer Diagnostics

Features

  • Dry up to 240 slides
  • Ambient-160F temp range. Dry slides fast and consistently at the perfect temperature.
  • Filtered air enters the oven through a charcoal filtering system eliminating dust and debris that can lead to artifact on the slides.
  • Specially designed slide racks fit neatly inside the dryer.
  • Heat range is enough to keep paraffin in liquid form for hours.
  • High temp plexiglass on all 4 sides creates perfect visibility inside, from all angles without opening the door and losing heat.
  • UL approved to ensure safety.
  • Dependable analog controls with German circulating fan assembly for long life.
  • Illuminated interior.

SLIDE WARMER

Features

  • Designed for a busy laboratory bench where space is at a premium
  • Easy to operate design with retrievable slides that overhang lower tiers, perfect for users of all experience levels
  • Digital display showing set and actual temperature in real time
  • Anodized black surface provides contrast when viewing samples

SLIDE DRYING HOTPLATE

Features

  • Designed to efficiently dry slides through the use of heated air radiating from a hotplate beneath the slides.
  • An ultra-fast heating system ensures rapid warm up, and digital controls provide temperature accuracy.
  • Microscope slides are supported on four movable rails which allow heated air to pass beneath the slides to accelerate drying, while slides sit at a sloped angle to encourage water drain off.
  • Rails can be removed from the instrument so that slides can be placed directly on the heated surface when required.

Features

  • The StatLab Slimline Mini Hotplate has a very small footprint, making it ideal for use at the microtome.
  • It is primarily used to remove stubborn wrinkles from tissue sections and re-orientate embedded tissue. It may also be used in microbiology for heat fixing bacterial smears.
  • The hotplate features a matte black heated surface to provide a visual contrast for tissue sections and reaches a max temperature of 167F (75ºC).
  • The body of the Mini Hotplate is coated with an antimicrobial finish which inhibits growth of bacteria and viruses.
